The Folly Inn:-
The Folly Inn is situated just about half way between the mouth of the river and Newport and is just the place to moor up and take refreshment. The Inn started life as a beached barque in 1752 when it was used for the serving of drinks and other refreshments to sailors travelling to Newport Quay. Over the years it has been built up and is highly recommended to both sea and land vistors.
